Today, UK Grid announces John Sweeney as a new share holder of The UK Grid Network Ltd.
John Sweeney joined UK Grid in November 2008 as Operations Director and has played a major role in propelling UK Grid forward in the data centre market.

John Sweeney’s background as an electrical engineer for 20 years has brought an immense amount of knowledge to the company and has enabled the rollout of two carbon balanced data centres with exceptionally low PUE’s.
This new shareholding comes at a good time as UK Grid begins the design and build of its third data centre, which will initially bring a further 10,000sqft of business class mission critical data centre space to its portfolio making UK Grid the largest colocation provider in the North of England.
