UK Grid wins tender for the Arts Council England

UK Grid has won a £250,000 tender with Arts Council England to supply data centre rack space in its Synergy House data centre and to house networking and server equipment, along with associated services.

Arts Council England (ACE) is the national development agency for the arts in England, distributing public money from Government and the National Lottery. It is our core belief that the arts have the power to transform lives and communities and to create opportunities for people throughout the country.

Arts Council England is UK Grid’s second public sector tender award in 2009, the first being Assessment and Qualifications Alliance (AQA) in May of this year. Managing Director, Rob Garbutt quoted "UK Grid are delighted that Arts Council England have chosen UK Grid as its preferred supplier for its data storage services, we feel that UK Grid is the perfect strategic partner for this project."
